This is my favorite of any of the CDs on this site! These 2 volumes (sold together as one) contain all 31 of the opening title songs of all 31 scripted Elvis movies.
Certain movies, as fans all know, did not have a title track with the same title as the movie (Kid Galahad, It Happened at the World's Fair, Tickle Me, Live a Little, Love a Little and The Trouble With Girls) ; in those cases I made the most obvious choice, I thought. But there's also 9 great bonus songs! My absolute fav thing I did on this was to put Violet, Flower of NYU followed by Love Me Tender reprise to end the set. Violet is the same tune as Love Me Tender and so we hear 1969 Elvis and 1956 Elvis singing to the same tune to close out the "Hollywood years"!.
The 2 covers feature 32 individual full length Elvises---one from each movie, and 2 from Kissin Cousins!. Sixteen per cover.
