This is the Roustabout soundtrack, with "I'm a Roustabout" as a bonus track. Everything on this cd has been available elsewhere since the 60s--except "I'm A Roustabout" which was unreleased for years, but it is currently available elsewhere too.
One of the defining visuals of the movie Roustabout was definitely Elvis in a black leather jacket on a motorcycle. The original album cover features a painted carnival in the background with Elvis in a blue shirt in the foreground. There's nothing wrong with the original cover, but one thing I wanted to do with these covers is evoke the movie more, and be more dynamic if possible. I am very pleased with this one, and it is probably my favorate of them all so far.
This version of the Roustabout soundtrack has the songs sequenced closer to the order they appeared in the movie. (It always drove me crazy, on the official releases, that "Wheels On My Heels" was after "Brand New Day On The Horizon".) And the artwork is all new. If you are collector of Elvis CDs, this is a good-looking addition to any collection. And one that no one else has, as of this listing. This is the only place it is for sale.
This is not a homemade CDr and it is not a sticker on the disc, it is professionally printed and packaged, and comes shrink-wrapped and new. FREE SHIPPING
