This is the Jailhouse Rock soundtrack. Everything on this cd has been available elsewhere since the 1950s in some form--except for a few tracks that were unreleased for years, but those are currently available elsewhere too.
The only thing new here is the cover art and tracklist sequencing.
The original Jailhouse Rock release was was the single backed with Treat Me Nice and the EP which had the full soundtrack. The photos of Elvis during the Jailhouse Rock photo sessions are some of his best pictures! Yet, to me the cover for the single or soundtrack for Jailhouse rock should be a picture from the most iconic scene.
These were not originally intended for sale but for private use. But a lot of fans like the new covers and asked me to make them available, so I offer them here now. If you are collector of Elvis CDs--purely on their aesthetics, this is a good-looking addition to any collection. And this is the only place it is for sale.
